Cashier Can Modify Bill Item Amount (Preferences)

Description:

This setting allows cashiers to edit the unit price of general service items during the billing process. When enabled, the system no longer restricts the cashier to the predefined price set in the system.

Functionality:

1. The cashier can increase or decrease the unit price of any general service item at the point of billing and approving bills.

2. The system accepts the modified price and reflects it in the final bill.

When Enabled:

1. Cashiers are permitted to override standard pricing.

2. Prices can be adjusted to accommodate discounts, corrections, or special service conditions.

3. Billing totals will be calculated based on the modified price instead of the default system price.

When Disabled:

1. Cashiers cannot change item prices.

2. All items are billed strictly according to the predefined unit prices in the system.
