- Medication cannot be administered unless a diagnosis has been made
On the homepage, open a patient’s folder by selecting them from the Queued List, the Medical Cases in Progress list, or by searching for the patient using the Search Patient Folder field.
Once the patient’s folder is opened, from the left navigation menu, click on General/Out-Patient or In-Patient/Ward if the patient has been admitted.
Scroll down and select Prescriptions.
On the prescriptions page, enter the medication name in the search field and select it from the dropdown list. Enter the dose in the dose field.
Select the frequency.
Enter the number of days.
Select the route.
Repeat the process to add more medications if needed.
When done, click the Submit button.
A confirmation message will appear at the bottom of the screen. Click OK.
