This setting allows you to define and apply specific prices for laboratory services based on the selected insurance or company within the system.
Insurance-specific prices must be configured for each laboratory service before this feature will work.
If no insurance-specific price is set, the system will use the default insurance price already configured.
How It Works
Each laboratory service can have:
Default Insurance Price
Insurance/Company-Specific Price
When billing a patient under an insurance or company:
If an insurance-specific price is available, the system will bill using that price.
If no specific price is set, the system will use the default insurance price.
Setup
Step 1: Set Insurance-Specific Price for a Laboratory Test
Go to Setup & Configuration
Navigate to Setup Test
Select a test from the Select a Test list
Or create a new test
Scroll down to Insurance-Specific Pricing
Enter the price for each insurance/company
Click Update
When Enabled
Laboratory services are billed using insurance-specific pricing where available.
Ensures accurate billing based on insurance agreements.

All laboratory services are billed using the default insurance price.
