Healthmanager Admin Department

Topup on bill will be specified ( Preferences )

Overview

This feature allows you to manually specify the top-up amount for bills, regardless of the difference between the cash price and the NHIS price.

Heads Up!
  • This feature applies only to NHIS billing.

  • It allows the user to override the automatic top-up calculation.

  • During billing, the system allows to manually enter the top-up amount charged to the patient in the department the bill is from.

              How It Works
  1. Normally, top-up is calculated automatically using:

    Cash Price − NHIS Price

  2. When this feature is enabled:

  3. The system allows to manually specify a fixed top-up amount

  4. This value is applied to the bill instead of the calculated difference

When Enabled

  1. Users can manually enter top-up amounts during NHIS billing.

  2. The system will not rely on automatic calculation for NHIS price differences.

When Disabled

  1. Top-up is automatically calculated using the difference between cash price and NHIS price.

  2. Manual entry of top-up amounts is not allowed.

Note

This feature is mainly used during medication, lab and radiology billing, where you can directly input the top-up amount to be paid by the patient.
