How to create Walk-In Services


Heads Up!
  1. Walk-ins can be created for patients who already have folders in the system, and the visit will not be linked to their existing folder.

  • Fill in all fields marked with a red asterisk (*)
  • Multiple scans can be selected for a client.
  • Multiple services can be selected for a client
  • More than one lab can be selected for a client.

Step-by-Step Guide: Walk-In Services

1. Access Walk-In Services

  • On the Records Department Dashboard, navigate and click Walk-In Services on the left-side menu.

  • From the dropdown, choose the service:

    • Laboratory Walk-In

    • Radiology Walk-In

    • Services/Procedures

2. Laboratory Walk-In

  1. Open New Test Form
    A New Test Form will appear.

  2. Enter Patient’s Information

    Fill in the patient’s details as required on the form

    • Patient First and Last Name: Example – Ama Kofi

    • Gender: Example – Female or Male

    • Age : Example – 32 years

    • Contact Number: Example – 024 123 4567

    Ensure all mandatory fields are completed correctly before proceeding.

    Heads Up!

    Select one option to indicate where the request is coming from:

    • Requested by a Medical Center Personal Request

    • Request from another facility:

      • Click Requested by a Medical Center

      • Enter the facility name in Requested From

      • Enter the doctor’s name in Requested By

    • Personal Request:

      • Click Personal Request

  3. Selecting Laboratory Tests

    • Use the search box under Test List to enter the lab name.

    • Click to select the required lab(s) for the patient.

  4. Submit Request

    • After reviewing details, click Send to Revenue

3. Radiology Walk-In

  1. Open new radiology form
    A new radiology request form will appear.

  2. Selecting Radiology Services

    • Use the search box under Services List to find the required service.

    • Click to select the scan(s) for the patient.

  3. Submit Request

    • After reviewing details, click Send to Revenue

4. Services/Procedures Walk-In

  1. Open New Services/Procedures Form
    A New Services/Procedures Form will appear

  2. Selecting Services/Procedures

    • Use the search box under Services List to find the required procedure.

    • Click to select the procedure(s) for the patient.

  3. Submit Request

    • After reviewing details, click Save
