When enabled, nurses can initiate lab requests without requiring a doctor to place the order.
How It Works
Select or open a patient record.
Navigate to the lab request section.
Choose the required tests.
Submit the request for processing by the laboratory.
When Enabled
Nurses can request lab tests directly.
Useful in urgent or routine cases where immediate testing is needed.
When Disabled
Only doctors or authorized clinical staff can request lab tests.
Nurses will not have access to create lab requests.

This feature should be controlled based on facility policy to ensure appropriate clinical authorization for lab investigations.
