Features and Updates

1. Bill Created Notification (SMS & Email)

Module: Billing / Notifications / Setup & Configurations
Navigation: Setup & Configurations → Setup SMS Templates | Billing → New Request / Walk-in Billing

The system can now notify patients automatically when a bill is created, improving communication and transparency.

Key Updates

  • Automatic email notifications when bills are created

  • Configurable SMS notifications

  • SMS delivery only when a template is created and enabled

  • Requires a valid patient phone number for SMS delivery

  • Applies only to newly created bills

How to Use

  1. Go to Setup & Configurations → Setup SMS Templates

  2. Select Bill Created as the message type

  3. Enter the SMS content and enable the template

  4. Save changes

  5. Create a bill from Billing → New Request / Walk-in Billing

  6. Notifications will be sent automatically


2. Commission Based on Full Payment

Module: Billing / Reports / Admin Settings
Navigation: Admin → Preferences | Reports → Commission Reports

Commission is now calculated only after full payment is received to ensure accurate reporting.

Key Updates

  • Bills with outstanding balances are excluded from commission reports

  • Commission is recorded only after full payment

  • Payment completion date is used for reporting

  • Ensures commissions reflect actual revenue received

How to Use

  1. Go to Admin → Preferences

  2. Enable the commission setting for completed payments

  3. View results in Reports → Commission Reports after full payment is made


3. Referral & Affiliate Workflow Improvements

Module: Signup / Affiliate Referrer
Navigation: Signup Page | Setup → Configuration → Affiliate Referrer

The referral process has been improved to make it easier to select referrers and invite doctors.

Key Updates

  • Improved referrer selection layout on the signup page

  • “I am a Referrer” option is now more visible

  • Added the Invite Doctor feature

  • Invitations can be sent via email or shared using a signup link

  • Doctors receive a registration link to complete the signup

How to Use

  1. Go to Setup → Configuration → Affiliate Referrer

  2. Click Invite Doctor

  3. Enter the doctor’s email or copy the invite link

  4. Send or share the registration link

The referrer page now loads faster and provides a smoother user experience.

5. Radiology Departmental Breakdown Report

Module: Reports / Setup / Laboratory / Radiology
Navigation: Setup → Setup Department | Setup → Setup Test | Reports → Expected Departmental Revenue

The system has been improved to support departmental revenue tracking and department unit management for Laboratory and Radiology services.

Key Updates

  • Department units can now be created under Pathology and Radiology

  • Tests can be assigned to specific department units

  • Users can be assigned to multiple department units

  • Test requests are routed based on assigned department units and linked users

  • Revenue reports now provide departmental service and revenue breakdowns

  • Revenue records are grouped under the correct department

How to Use

  1. Go to Setup → Setup Department

  2. Create departments or department units

  3. Assign tests and users to department units

  4. Perform investigations as usual

  5. View results in Reports → Expected Departmental Revenue
