Release Summary
Laboratory – Import Tests from Other Branches: The Laboratory module has been enhanced to make test setup across branches faster and more efficient.
Users can now import existing laboratory tests from another branch instead of recreating each test manually. When a branch has no configured tests, an Import Tests option is available, allowing users to select a source branch and review the number of tests available for import.
The system provides an import summary showing the number of successfully imported tests and any duplicate tests skipped. Once the import is completed, the tests are displayed in Setup Tests & Prices and can be edited, configured, and managed normally.
Reports – Group Top Performed Tests by Patient Sponsor: The Reports module has been improved to provide more flexible analysis of laboratory test performance and patient sponsor utilisation.
The Top Performed Tests report now includes a Group By filter, allowing users to view results based on either Test Requested or Patient Sponsor. When grouped by Test Requested, the report shows the most frequently performed laboratory tests, while grouping by Patient Sponsor displays the total number of tests performed for each sponsor.
The report automatically updates when the grouping option is changed, while existing search, filtering, sorting, and pagination features continue to work with both grouping options.
Laboratory – Auto SMS Template Management Improvement: The Laboratory module has been improved to make automatic SMS template management more organised, flexible, and easier to maintain.
The Setup SMS Templates page now displays a centralised list of configured templates, showing the Message Type, Message, and Status. Administrators can use the Manage Template option to create or update templates through a dedicated setup window without leaving the template list.
Administrators can personalise SMS messages, insert dynamic placeholders using the @ symbol, preview messages, and enable or disable individual templates. Multiple template changes can be made before saving, and saved templates are made available across all facility branches according to their configured status.
Laboratory – Test Grouping: The Laboratory module has been enhanced to make multiple related investigations easier to configure, request, and process.
Users can now create investigation order sets by grouping multiple existing tests under a single parent test. By enabling This setup is an investigation order set (Group of tests), users can select and add the required tests to the group.
When the parent test is requested, all tests included in the group are automatically made available during Perform Investigation, allowing users to enter results for each investigation individually. Each test retains its own parameters and findings, and the completed results can be saved, previewed, or printed as part of the grouped investigation.
Authentication: The Forgot Password functionality has been enhanced to provide a more reliable password recovery process across both Online and Offline environments.
Users can now access the Forgot Your Password option regardless of the application environment and request a password recovery email using their registered email address. The system sends an email containing a Recover Password link, which redirects the user to the Password Reset page.
Users can create and confirm a new password, receive confirmation that the password has been reset successfully, and log in using the newly created password.
Laboratory: Laboratory users can now represent quantitative test results as graphs, making it easier to visually review and interpret numeric investigation results.
When Graph Representation for Quantitative Test Parameters is enabled during test setup, users can define the X-axis and Y-axis names. During investigation, a Plot Parameters option is available for configured tests, allowing users to generate graphs based on the recorded numeric results.
Users can view graphs for different tests from the same graph window and download the generated graphs in the available formats for sharing, reporting, or printing.

3. Laboratory – Auto SMS Template Management

SMS template management has been improved with a centralised template list and a dedicated management window for creating and updating automatic SMS messages.

5. Authentication – Forgot Password Email Verification

Overview
Password recovery has been improved to support both Online and Offline environments and provide a complete email-based password reset process.
Key Updates
- The external link button is available in both Online and Offline configurations.
- Users can request a password recovery email from the login page.
- The email contains a functional Recover Password link.
- Users can create and confirm a new password through the Password Reset page.
- Users can log in with the newly created password after a successful reset.
How to Use
- Open the LabManager Login page.
- Click Forgot Your Password.
- Enter the registered email address and submit the request.
- Open the password recovery email.
- Click Recover Password.
- Enter and confirm the new password.
- Click Reset.
- Return to the login page and sign in with the new password.
