This setting controls how doctors prescribe medications in the system.
When enabled, doctors can only prescribe drugs that already exist in the pharmacy’s configured drug list.
How It Works
The system displays only medications that are set up in the pharmacy module.
When Enabled
Doctors are restricted to pharmacy-approved drug list only.
Prevents entry of unregistered or unavailable medications.
Ensures consistency between prescriptions and pharmacy stock.
Improves inventory control and dispensing accuracy.
When Disabled
Doctors may be able to enter or prescribe drugs from a large pool of drugs including the pharmacy list and can also add drugs not in the system.
